Moringa

The moringa plant (scientific name: Moringa oleifera) is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree native to parts of South Asia, especially the foothills of the Himalayas in India. It's now grown in many tropical and subtropical regions around the world due to its nutritional, medicinal, and agricultural benefits.

In the moringa group: significant decrease in diastolic BP 2h after the meal vs baseline; also reductions in both systolic and diastolic BP despite prior high salt consumption. The control group had elevated BP post‑meal if diet had high salt.
